Elke Greite is a dedicated IB Educator, Middle Leader, and Educational Consultant with over 23 years of experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. A passionate advocate for student agency, leadership, and global citizenship, Elke currently teaches Visual Arts and Theory of Knowledge at Dresden International School. She also leads the Arts and Design department and coordinates the Theory of Knowledge program, where she inspires students to explore critical thinking and creative expression.
Elke holds a master’s in education and has completed the ECIS Middle Leadership program and the Thinking Collaborative Foundation Seminar on Cognitive Coaching. Throughout her career, she has been committed to mentoring and coaching teams and individuals to thrive through identity-centered learning, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed both academically and as global citizens.
A strong advocate for DEIJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice), Elke believes that empowering students with leadership opportunities and fostering their critical and creative thinking skills is essential for their academic and personal growth.
